AIS Listserver Help

• To subscribe or unsubscribe from the general public lists, click on the "Public Lists" link and follow the instructions.
• To subscribe or unsubscribe from the AIS members only lists, click on the "Members Lists" link and follow the instructions. If you are not already signed it, you will be required to login using the AIS single sign on.

• If you are already subscribed to a list and would like to change your subscription options, please send email* to the listname-request@lists.aisnet.org with one or more of the command below.
• Please use the email address that is used for subscription to send email to change options.
• Please leave the subject line empty (blank).

Commands & Examples:

password [oldpassword newpassword]
Retrieve or change your password. With no arguments, this returns your current password. With arguments <oldpassword> and <newpassword> you can change your password.

Example: If you would like to retrieve your password for the AISWorld list, send an email to aisworld-request@lists.aisnet.org with the following in the body:
password
end

If you would like to change your password (say from oldpass to newpass) for the AISWorld list, send an email to aisworld-request@lists.aisnet.org with the following in the body:
password oldpass newpass
end

set authenticate yourpassword
To set any of your options, you must include this command first, along with your membership password.

set digest [on-off]
To receive list mail batched in a daily digest or receive mail immediately when they are posted. 

Example: If you would like to receive list mail batched in a daily digest for the AISWorld list, send an email to aisworld-request@lists.aisnet.org with the following in the body:
set authenticate mypassword
set digest on
end
